Minimalism for the Environment

I wouldn’t exactly call myself a tree hugger but I do at least try to pay attention to our environment and conserve where I can. My decision to buy from ebay and second hand stores in addition to only purchasing natural fiber clothing certainly didn’t come from an environmental standpoint. I just couldn’t stand the thought paying retail markup or wearing plastic/chemical/manmade material. I never even considered the amount of clothes that must be sitting in landfills until I read this article: One-womans-quest-wear-dumped-donated-secondhand-clothes–exception-underwear.html

Can you believe the amount of clothing tossed away every year? And most of it won’t degrade. Just another reason to go for quality. But the most important reason is because you ARE worth it.
